Hi. My name is Andreea and I started working in the Bucharest office in July 2012 as a software developer. Now I am the team leader of Sidra team.

From the beginning I had a very good collaboration with the team from Romania and the one from Norway. We have a dynamic, but friendly, working environment and we get all the support we need from Norway.

We support each other in programming tasks so we come with the best solutions possible. We are working on complex projects using new and different technologies with a lot of learning opportunities (ASP MVC, WPF, .Net Code Web API, Angular, Sql Server).

In our team we have the freedom of choosing the technologies we work with when starting a new project and every team member has a say in it.

In SVEA we also have a lot of travel opportunities, not only business travel to the Oslo office, but also team-buildings and corporate events. In the past years we had team-buildings in Romania and Bulgaria, and also corporate trips in Sardinia, Rhodes and Malaga.

Also SVEA offered me the opportunity to move to Norway. So starting July 2019 I am working from the Oslo office.

My name is Ciprian and I work as Team Leader QA for Svea Finans AS Norway.

My collaboration with Svea Finans started in 2012, my first role was as Senior QA Engineer in the Bucharest office.

The team in Bucharest was young, professional, with very friendly colleagues. During this period, I had the opportunity to visit the office in Oslo thru several job-related visits and it made me curious about life and work in another country.

The company supported my aspiration and in 2014 I moved with my family to Norway and started working in the Oslo office as QA Team Leader.

The recruitment process for the offices in Bucharest and Oslo is very professional. We work closely with the recruiters in Romania and together we managed to find great people.

Working for the company has been a great experience, the environment is dynamic, you receive both support and guidance to further development in the direction you want.

We worked on many interesting projects, such as the rewriting from Cobol in C # of a very complex financial solution, the first such project in Norway, and the first integration with SAP in Europe of such a of financial product.

I am very happy that I was able to be part of these projects, and I was able to track the effects they had both inside the company and on the financial market in Norway.

The team from Norway is professional, focused on results, with a well-defined border between work and leisure, which I really appreciate.

One of the strengths of the team is communication, both between the team members and with team leaders of the different departments.

I also want to mention the amazing team buildings we had all around Europe (Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, Norway, Greece), great memories and unforgettable adventures.
